Brad Pitt’s Plan B production company has been quite busy in the past few days, yesterday announcing it picked up the rights for John Le Carre’s The Night Manager and today picking up the rights to Important Artifacts and Personal Property from the Collection of Lenore Doolan and Harold Morris, Including Books, Street Fashion, and Jewelry, the recently published book by Leanne Shapton.

Pitt will star in the film alongside Natalie Portman, who was yesterday touted as the possible female lead in Thor, whose production company Handsomecharlie Films will also produce.

The book reportedly takes form of an auction catalogue including items which speak to moments during the relationship between a photographer, played by Pitt, and a New York Times food columnist, played by Portman.

No real opinion on this other than you have two attractive, if not spectacularly talented leads, who should both do will in creating a decent romantic comedy.
